Guidelines
STL File Required: To 3D print using any of the following 3D printers, your design must be in a .STL file format.
Software & Resources: A simple 3D modeling resource is Tinkercad.com. If you’re looking for pre-designed 3D prints, search Thingiverse.com.
Quota/Limitations: Use of the free filament provided in the MakerSpace is limited to 150 grams per print or 200 grams per week. If print weight exceeds these amounts, you must provide your own filament. When supplying filament, please ensure to note the filament diameter size based on the equipment. Filament can be purchased at the Syracuse University Campus Store. Note, manufacturing products for commercial use is prohibited and multiple copies must be approved by a team member.
